The District Boracay, represented by HR Manager Gary Savior facilitated the distribution of goods to the local community. Among the various beneficiaries were the children of the Ati community who participated in Boracay Foundation Inc’s Santacruzan last May.
The District Boracay, in partnership with Solar Entertainment Corporation, participated in a plethora of socio-cultural activities in Boracay Island from May to June by facilitating distribution of in-kind goods for the local and indigenous communities as well as event participants.
Donated goods include international brands such as Ceres Natural Fruit Juice, Pocari Sweat, Evian Mineral Water, Zest-O Dalandan Fruit Soda and Badoit. Beneficiaries include participants of Boracay Foundation Inc.’s Flores De Mayo, local athletes from Barangay Manoc-Manoc’s, and the children of Barangay Balabag.
The District Boracay was venue of various Laboracay events staged by the Solar group for its channels such as ETC, Jack TV and My Movie Channel. Solar – through its sister company Federated Distributor’s Inc – provided some of the goods that were distributed during the outreach activities.
