The District Boracay joined the Nordic Chamber of Commerce Philippines in a charity event at the Chosen Children Villlage last November 24.
Earlier this year, The District Boracay sponsored the chamber’s annual Crayfish Party, and sponsored a holiday package for 2. Proceeds of the event were donated to the foundation, which serves as home to abandoned children.
For the past few years, the annual event holds an auction in which all proceeds go to its beneficiary: The Chosen Children Village Foundation (CCV). For most of us, knowing how it is to grow up in a normal household is a blessing and a privilege that we should all be grateful for. And for the children that they take in at CCV, the blessing is that they’ve found that place, where they’re taken care of and raised and hopefully, adopted by prospective families.
Last November 24, 2018, the proceeds of the Crayfish Party was handed over to the foundation. And it truly is an honor for us to join this event and see that we can be part of something bigger. Attending this small ceremony is a very humbling experience that The District hopes to continuously support.
