House Brew Cafe at The District Boracay uses acrylic barriers as one of its safety measures.

The District Boracay’s number one priority is to ensure memorable and worry-free holidays for all. It has become all the more meaningful in this time of COVID-19 as we implement enhanced safety protocols from the booking stage up to check-out of guests. We know how it feels like to go out of the house and face the risk of getting sick that is why we have worked hard to give you an added level of security during your stay and to keep Boracay safe for all.

CONTACTLESS SERVICE

Pre-pandemic, The District Boracay is already utilizing an online booking system for the convenience of guests. All bookings are made online or through phone. A secure online payment gateway is also available for guests’ use. As we aim to minimize face-to-face contact at the hotel, we encourage guests to fill-out the Guest Registration / Health Declaration Form prior their arrival to shorten check-in time. Our restaurant menus are also available online so you can browse our offers with peace of mind.

ENHANCED CLEANING PROTOCOLS

Disinfection of high-touch surfaces and facilities all over the hotel are done every one to two hours. Rooms are cleaned thoroughly every after use and doors are sealed after cleaning to signify that the room remains untouched until it is turned over to new set of guests. We use medical-grade cleaning materials, just to be extra sure.

HEALTH AND SAFETY MEASURES

The new normal standards are definitely practiced at The District, from the screening of temperature upon entry, wearing of PPEs, visible sanitation areas, social distancing, and safety reminders all over the place. Acrylic barriers are also installed at the Front Desk and at the restaurants as an extra layer of protection between guests and/or staff.

EMPLOYEE TRAINING

We aim to provide guests with the best service, and it all starts with well-informed staff. We make sure to conduct regular trainings about the new normal protocols and to keep them up-to-date with relevant information regarding the situation. Staff’s health is equally important and is monitored regularly. The District remains a safe place for guests, all thanks to our very-own frontliners.

It gradually reopened its doors to tourist starting June and has formally resumed tourism activities early October 2020, proving that safe travel is possible at this time. It is our moral and social responsibility to keep the island a safe place for everyone by obeying the rules and by strictly following the health and safety protocols so more people can enjoy the beauty of Boracay.
