Making your vacation happen could be a spur of the moment or a planned family trip. Since most of us take a leave from work or school to get there, you should take some extra steps to get the most out of it. Here’s some ways we think you could do on your next trip to Boracay.
Plan – In Moderation
Much like everything, planning your trip should also be done in moderation. It would be nice to have at least the basics well planned – your flight, accommodation, activities, and the bare necessities. But sometimes, the art of doing nothing is sometimes liberating because you are able to enjoy the little, random things around you. As the saying goes – and we totally agree – spontaneity is the best kind of adventure!
No Rush
You’ve planned your trip, packed your bags and the only thing left is to go. Make sure you tone everything down and slow yourself a little to avoid matching your normal pace at work. Just remember that you’re in a vacation and the only thing you should be rushing for is the beach or your dinner reservations.
Soak Everything In
Much like some people, you might be tempted to get your phone and snap photos of everything you see. Being in Boracay, this couldn’t be avoided but make sure you take everything in first and enjoy the sights for yourself before you see that photo on your phone and not even remember taking it.
Disconnect from the Internet
Disconnecting yourself from the internet could probably be the best thing you do on your trip. Even on a vacation, some people find themselves scrolling through social media and emails, indulging their stress with more fuel. At the end of the day, disconnecting is just what we need to refresh ourselves even for a little while.
Try Everything
It’s not every day that you get to walk out and see the beach. Especially if you’re staying with a beachfront hotel, this is an experience worth savoring. Not to mention the many activities you can try and the amenities your accommodation has to offer. Make sure you check with them what activities are allowed not just on the beach, there’s actually a lot more activities on the island worth trying. Get a massage, do some laps, trek the land and a lot more. Remember that these are things we don’t get to go on our everyday schedule so make the most of it!
So before you hop on that flight or you head to your trip, keep in mind these things that could help you make the most out of your Boracay Vacation.
