Boracay is famous for its White Beach and the powder-like sand that is unlike any other in the world. The breathtaking sunset view on this side of the island is equally adored that a Boracay holiday would not be complete without witnessing the most photographed subject in the island.
Lucky for the residents and resort workers left in the island during its 6-month hiatus, they are able to enjoy this view with a front-row seat along the White Beach. Take a look at some sunset shots, snapped by The District Boracay’s Resident Manager Naomi Soriano.
April 26, Day 1.The first sunset after Boracay is temporarily closed to public. Normally, the beach is packed as early as 5pm with tourists waiting to witness the stunning sunset of the island.
May 28, Day 31. With the temporary closure of Boracay also comes the rare opportunity to enjoy solitude in the island as the sun sets.
June 19, Day 55. Even when the sea is rough, Boracay sunset does not disappoint!
