Labor Day is a popular holiday in most countries worldwide, and Manila’s work-force makes sure to celebrate this in a different level by joining the Philippine’s longest and most-awaited event of the year!
LaBoracay (\ley-bo-`ra-kay\) is a 4-day event during the Labor Day weekend characterized by exciting beach activities and series of parties hyped-up with music from various local and international DJs.
Unlike other Philippine festivals, there is no official declaration about LaBoracay. Private sectors started organizing events in 2010 to take advantage of the peak of the summer season, and the rest is history. The festivity gets bigger every year, with new events joining the line-up of activities.
